[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide parent connect program to the government authority located in Trenton, NJ.
- to deliver wrap around service provision for homeless students and families.
- The community organization will appoint a case manager to work with the school district’s Homeless Liaison to establish a referral process for any services rendered through the Parent Connect Program
- The appointed organization will work with a minimum of 50 families to complete a needs assessment and perform direct services
- The provision for homeless children and youths of before- and after-school, mentoring, and summer programs in which a teacher or other qualified individual provides tutoring, homework assistance, and supervision of educational activities.
- If necessary, the payment of fees and other costs associated with tracking, obtaining, and transferring records necessary to enroll homeless children and youths in school, including birth certificates, immunization or medical records, academic records, guardianship records, and evaluations for special programs or services.
- The provision of education and training to the parents of homeless children and youths about the rights of and resources available to such children and youths. Training must include tenant housing rights, and employment readiness.
- The provision of pupil services (including violence prevention counseling) and referrals for such services.
- Counseling services to address anxiety related to homelessness that is impeding learning.
- Purchase of items of clothing, particularly if necessary to meet a school’s dress or uniform requirement; clothing and shoes necessary to participate in physical education classes; personal school supplies; food, eyeglasses, and hearing aids.
[C] Eligibility:
Onshore (USA organization Only)
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office premises.
